Bishop Dr. A.L. and Dorothy Helligar

     Pastor A.L. Helligar was born on the Island of St. Martin and was saved on his birthday: November 2, 1957. He was soon called to the ministry in 1959. In 1967, he graduated from Bethel Bible College in Jamaica, West Indies. A few months later, he married his lovely wife Dorothy, and the Lord led them to the Island of Nevis for almost thirteen years as the Lord blessed them, they expanded to three churches. They also did evangelistic work on other islands such as St. Lucia, St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Barbados, Tortola, and many more. Not only did the Helligars minister in the Islands, they shared the Gospel on Radio Paradise, a local radio station. Many were delivered and sould were saved through their broadcast ministry.

In 1979, the Lord began to deal with the Helligars about spreading the Gospel to the world. By the grace of God, Pastor Helligar, Minister Helligar, and their seven children (George, Patricia, Seymour, Marcia, Karen, Marissa, and Mark) came to the United States where the Lord continued to bless their ministry.

The Lord led Pastor and Minister Helligar to open a mission in the Orlando area where their main focus was street ministry. They ministered to drug addicts, alcoholics, and juveniles. In Orlando, he has had the privilege to minister on local radio stations and has been a guest on TV52 and TV55. He was the Pastor of Cry of His Coming Assembly and also started in Mechanicsville, Maryland and has affiliated churches in Toronto, Canada; Tortola, and many other Islands in the West Indies.

While keeping busy, Pastor Helligar still found time to continue his study in Theology. He has received a Bachelor of Theology from the International Bible Institute in Plymouth, Florida and a Doctorate Degree from Homestead College.

In January 2001, Bishop Helligar became the Senior Pastor of Koinonia Ministries of Central Florida. His desire is to build a Center with trained individuals to minister to the body, soul, and spirit of man. He is committed to preaching the unadulterated Gospel and is committed to our Lord, Jesus Christ!

Pastor Frank Murphy

     Pastor Frank J. Murphy was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on February 3, 1952. He joined the United States Air Force in 1970. He is the husband of the lovely Ruth Murphy and is the father of four, and the grandfather of seven. His travels took him to Fairbanks, Alaska where he accepted the Lord as his personal in September 1977.

He then became ordained as a minister in 1980 while stationed in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Pastor Murphy then established the Gospel Inspirational Service at Grand Forks Air Base in North Dakota in 1983. His next military assignment placed him in Stuggart, Germany where he Pastored the New Beginnings Gospel Service until 1991 where upon he retired from the military and relocated to Orlando, Florida.

Pastor Murphy then became the Assistant Pastor of New Deliverance Apostolic Church in 1994. The Lord the led him in 1995, to a Chairman of the Board position with Living Hope International Ministries. He also evangelized with various churches until 1999 when he became a member of Christ First Church of Central Florida.

In 2000, Pastor Murphy was nominiated and ordained as an Associate Pastor of Koinonia Ministries where he continues to faithfully serve the Lord and God's people.
