TO WHAT: STOP THE KILLING – START LIVING RALLY –
WHERE: J-Mart Parking Lot corner of Silver Star and Hiawassee
K.N.E.C. is spearheading an effort to bring the community to a positive point to stop the killing and start living in this Central Florida community. We no longer want the stigma of crime controlling our streets. It is time to make a change and bring everyone together to K.N.E.C.
There are a variety of ways that you can participate.
If you are a business you can participate by:
- Making a commitment to attend the event and encouraging your employees to attend….we want to hear from all of you.
- Supporting the organization of the event with your dollars or support services.
We are in need of the following. Tent, 50 x 50 Tent, Industrial type generator, Chairs, Food (for all three days, with the third day being the picnic day), printing services, sound equipment, entertainment, banners. If you can provide any of these items or contribute please complete the attached sponsorship form.
You have the opportunity to exhibit your product or service on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The cost is only $30.00 per 10’ x 10’ ft space. Table and 2 chairs will be provided. You must provide your own tenting or electrical power supply.
If you are a church or a non-profit organization you can participate by
- Making a commitment to attend and encouraging the members of your congregation to attend….We are all hurting and need to begin the healing process from the House of Prayer.
- Attending a special Pastor’s and Ministers meeting on September11, 2008 at Evans High School at 4:00 p.m.
- Making a contribution to offset the initial costs of production of the event. Please contact Bishop A. Helligar at 407-721-4817 for more information.
- Providing at least 5 volunteers from your church to work with the development of the K.N.E.C. program prior to and on the days of the Rally. Volunteers can sign up at www.knecus.com/volunteers

giving your donations, and sharing your pictures and stories and by participating actively in the discussions, taking advantages of the services offered, and opening your mind to helping to create a new community attitude....one of positive change.
BRING YOUR STORIES, YOUR PHOTOS AND THE NAMES OF YOUR LOVED ONES WHO HAVE BEEN IMPACTED BY VIOLENCE IN YOUR COMMUNITY. WE ARE GOING TO CREATE A TEMPORARY MEMORIAL TO THEIR MEMORY. You can also share your stories on this website at www.knecus.com/guestbook.html
